Autumn leaves
Absorb the sun's color
And drift quietly to earth.
The wind gathers them up and
Carries them swiftly away,
Packing up summer
Into the attic
And making room
In the house
For winter.

Sigh!! You make fall look so good. I always miss the bright summer flowers and vegetables when fall comes but you have truely displayed it in all its beauty and with a lovely poem to celebrate. Thank you, Nancy
