Such beautiful words and images. The leaves aren't turning in Texas yet, so I enjoy the foretaste from friends farther north.

This bit calls to me:
"Hope holds itself against a cross when the whole world thinks the story's over. Hope lets go of the last breath of life while the enemy's taunt still rings out. Hope lets Love bury it in the darkness and waits patiently, expectantly for God to show up." It makes me think of Mary at the tomb Easter morning and Jesus surprising her. She wasn't hopeful at that point, but she took her Love to the tomb and Hope was there waiting for her.
